ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court Justice Tariq Masood excused himself from hearing the circulars for the investigation of Cipher.
A hearing was held in the Supreme Court on the chamber appeals filed for the investigation of Cipher, in which Justice Sardar Tariq Masood excused himself from hearing these appeals, after which the appeals were sent back to the Chief Justice.
Justice Tariq Masood said that Chief Justice Sypher should appoint an in-chamber appeal before another judge for investigation.
Petitions were filed in the Supreme Court to investigate the cipher and the Registrar’s Office returned the petitions raising various objections.
The PTI and the government have filed separate applications for a probe into Cypher.
