The spokesperson of K Electric, the company that supplies electricity to Karachi, says that the restoration of electricity in the areas of Baldia, Baloch Colony, Jacob Line, Korangi, Qayyumabad is going on.
Electricity supply in different areas of Karachi was suspended around 7:30 am, 90 percent of Karachi city is still without electricity.
The spokesperson says that the restoration process is being done gradually to maintain the stability of the system, there is a possibility of restoration of electricity in most parts of Karachi in the next 3 to 4 hours.
The spokesman says that they are in touch with NTDC to restore electricity from the National Grid, it may take 24 hours to restore electricity in the city.
