The Election Commission of Pakistan issued guidelines for caretaker governments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.
In the notification issued by the Election Commission, it has been said that the caretaker governments should support the Election Commission to conduct the elections.
The Election Commission has banned recruitment in all ministries, divisions, departments and institutions of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The notification states that no government employee will be appointed or transferred without the approval of the Election Commission, apart from this, no development project will be announced in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, all development funds of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Kent Board elections. will remain frozen until announced.
The Election Commission has directed that the heads of all institutions recruited on political grounds should be immediately dismissed, the official residences of former chief ministers, ministers, advisors should be vacated and government vehicles should also be taken back.
The Election Commission ordered that the caretaker chief ministers and ministers submit the details of assets within three days.
It should be noted that the assemblies in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been dissolved and caretaker chief ministers have also assumed office.
