Former President Asif Ali Zardari has welcomed the decision of the Election Commission to appoint Mohsin Naqvi as caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab and said that Mohsin Naqvi is the best choice among the 4 names sent to the Election Commission.
The former president has said in one of his statements that Mohsin Naqvi is a self-made person, he has relations with all political parties, he never contested elections and was not a part of any political activity.
Asif Zardari said that those who objected to Mohsin Naqvi should say that if respected journalists like Irshad Ahmad Haqqani and Arif Nizami can become part of caretaker governments, Najam Sethi can become caretaker chief minister, then why Mohsin Naqvi is not suitable for this position?
Asif Zardari expected that Mohsin Naqvi will soon shut the mouths of critics with his good character and ability.
