In North Balochistan, snowfall continues in Kozhak Top, Parana Chaman, Shelabagh and Toba Achakzai, severe cold wave is expected from today.
Hundreds of vehicles were rescued by the administration after several vehicles got stuck due to snowfall at Kozhik Top.
Due to the severe cold, the Quetta-Chaman highway has been frozen again, while the traffic flow has also been affected on the Quetta-Ziyarat highway.
On the other hand, the fog has once again taken hold in Punjab, due to the heavy fog, the visibility was affected and the motorways were closed for traffic at many places.
According to the Motorway Police, Multan Motorway from Faizpur to Jaranwala and Motorway M11 from Mehmood Buti to Shahdara, Kala Khatai Interchange have been closed for traffic.
Motorway M2 from Lahore to Haran Mainartak while Lahore-Sialkot Motorway has also been closed from Mehmood Buti to Kala Khatai Interchange for closed traffic.
