Federal Minister of Economic Affairs Ayaz Sadiq says that no final decision has been taken on the purchase of cheap oil from Russia.

Ayaz Sadiq while speaking in the program Naya Pakistan said that things may be finalized in 10 days or in a month, the cut-off date is March.

Ayaz Sadiq added that we will get a good discount, not much compared to any other country, in which currency the trade will be done is yet to be decided.

It should be noted that in a conversation after the meeting of the Inter-Governmental Commission between Russia and Pakistan today, Energy Minister Mossadegh Malik said that the structure related to the purchase of crude oil from Russia and the Pakistan Stream Gas Pipeline will be finalized in March. Will start importing crude oil, petrol and diesel from Russia.

He said that currently Russia does not have LNG to give to Pakistan, Pakistan wants to import 35% of its total crude oil requirement from Russia.
