Islamabad: Pakistan has decided to import crude oil, petrol and diesel from Russia.
In a conversation after the meeting of the Inter-Governmental Commission between Russia and Pakistan, Energy Minister Mossadegh Malik said that the structure related to the purchase of crude oil from Russia and the Pakistan Stream Gas Pipeline will be finalized in March. , will start importing petrol and diesel.
He said that currently Russia does not have LNG to give to Pakistan, Pakistan wants to import 35% of its total crude oil requirement from Russia.

On the other hand, the joint declaration of the eighth session of the Inter-Governmental Commission of Pakistan and Russia has also been issued according to which the parties agreed to increase cooperation in various fields including trade and investment.

While consideration was given to building a sustainable infrastructure for supplying cheap gas through the Pakistan Stream Gas Pipeline.
According to the statement, an agreement on cooperation in customs matters between Pakistan and Russia, a document on the customs value of Pakistan-Russia merchandise and an agreement on data transactions were also signed in the meeting.
In the joint statement, it was stated that an agreement to work on the airworthiness of Pak-Russia aeronautical products has also been reached.
