In the Nangarhar province of Afghanistan, the education department instructed male employees to keep beards and female employees to wear hijab.
According to the Afghan media, in the order issued by the Education Directorate of Nangarhar, male employees have been instructed to keep beards according to ‘Sharia’ and to pray in congregation, in the order, female employees have been instructed to wear hijab.
The Directorate of Education has warned the employees that those who do not follow the order may be dismissed.
