Public Accounts Committee directed to take action against the officers who made the case of Rana Sanaparmanshiyat -HP NEWS

ISLAMABAD: The Public Accounts Committee of the Parliament directed the Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah to take action against the officers who made the drug case in the previous regime.

The meeting of the Public Accounts Committee was chaired by the Chairman of the Committee, Noor Alam Khan, in which the audit objections of the year 2019-20 related to Narcotics Control were reviewed.

The member of the committee, Sheikh Rohail Asghar, said that a case was made against our member of the National Assembly. After doing everything, it was found that the case was wrong.

Committee member Burgis Tahir inquired whether the ministry had made any progress against the makers of the Rana Sanaullah case or not.

Secretary Narcotics Force said that any case is registered on the basis of information.

Chairman Noor Alam Khan said that the court is also saying that you made a wrong case, what action was taken against the one who made a wrong case?

Secretary Narcotics Force replied that consultations are ongoing regarding those who made the case against Rana Sanaullah.

Noor Alam Khan said that Secretary Narcotics Force should remember that the officers who came here came prepared, let them be told how a false case was made against Rana Sanaullah, what action was taken against the officers who made this false case?

Noor Alam Khan said that it should be told that the officials of the anti-narcotics force were caught taking bribes at Islamabad Airport, what action was taken?

The chairman committee asked for a report within a week, directing action against the officers who made a drug case against Rana Sanaullah.

He said that action will be taken against those who make false cases whether they are serving or retired, they will write a letter to the army chief in the light of the report, whoever has done wrong should be punished.
