Residents of Nazimabad and Aurangabad protested against the non-supply of electricity at Nazimabad No. 2 in Karachi, including women and children, for several hours.
According to the traffic police, the residents of Nazimabad No. 2 and Aurangabad protested against the lack of electricity for a day.
Demonstrators along with women and children came on the streets, due to the demonstration, the traffic coming and going from Nazimabad No. 2 to the site area was suspended and long queues of vehicles were formed.
The protesters said that 24 hours are going to pass, there is no electricity in their house, they are paying regular bills, traffic flow will not be restored until the light is restored.
The protest of the protestors continued for several hours, later K Electric restored the electricity to the area and the protestors ended the protest and opened the road for traffic.
