Peshawar Zalmi beat Quetta Gladiators by 4 wickets -HP NEWS

In the 9th match of HBL PSL 8, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Quetta Gladiators by 4 wickets after an interesting match.

In this match played at National Stadium Cricket Arena in Karachi, Peshawar Zalmi achieved the target of 155 runs given by Quetta Gladiators for the loss of 6 wickets in the 19th over.

In Peshawar Zalmi’s pursuit of the target, young Mohammad Haris provided a smoky start, scoring 18 runs off 9 balls.

Haris was dismissed by Hasnain on the score of 29, then Hasnain also got Saeem Ayub out lbw on the very next ball.

Zalmi’s in-form batsman Tom Koehler-Cadmore was the guest for just 9 runs and was dismissed for 47. They were also run by Mohammad Hasnain.

Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam was dismissed for 67 after scoring 19 runs, then it seemed that Quetta Gladiators would come back into the match.

However, in this situation, Rowman Powell played an innings of 36 runs and Jimmy Nesham 38 runs to take the match away from Quetta Gladiators.

Showing responsibility, Dasan Shanaka scored 16 runs and Wahab Riaz played an unbeaten innings of 10 runs and achieved the target in the 19th over at the loss of 6 wickets.
