K Electric has filed a petition with Nepra to increase the price of electricity.
K Electric has requested to increase the cost of electricity by Rs 2.69 per unit under January FCA.
K Electric said in the application that there will be a burden of 2 billion 77 crore rupees on the consumers.
A request has also been filed by K Electric for cheaper electricity in the quarterly adjustment.
K Electric also said that it has requested to reduce the cost of electricity by Rs 7.36 paise per unit for the October-December quarterly adjustment.
Nepra will hear both the petitions on February 28.
