Babar Azam, captain of Pakistan Super League (PSL) team Peshawar Zalmi, did not practice with the team on Thursday, instead he went to practice alone before the team.

In the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League, Peshawar Zalmi will begin their campaign against Karachi Kings on February 14.

The Peshawar team has been preparing for the match for two days, while the Karachi Kings also started their preparations today.

On Thursday, the two teams were supposed to have a practice session together in the evening, but the team captain Babar Azam reached for the practice in the afternoon before his teammates.

Babar Azam practiced batting for a long time at Hanif Muhammad High Performance Center but he was not present with the team in the evening.

Sources say that Babar Azam has left for Islamabad on an evening flight where he will attend the celebration of fellow cricketers Shadab Khan on Friday.

Sources said that he didn’t want to miss his practice routine, so he took time out before the flight to train hard.
