Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) had a positive day of business. 100 index crossed the level of 41 thousand points.
According to the closing note of Arif Habib Securities, the market was buoyant on the news of the government’s gas sector circular due settlement.
The PSX benchmark 100 index rose 722 points to close at 41,193 points.
At one point in the business day, the index was positive by 824 points.
The business volume of the shares market was at the highest level since January 27 i.e. 176.7 million shares while the value of the business was 8 billion 79 crore rupees.
The market capitalization increased by 104 billion rupees to 6 thousand 457 billion rupees.
