Cement sales in Pakistan increased by 1.15% during January.
According to All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association, the total consumption of cement in the first month of the new year was 4 million 15 thousand tons.
Domestic consumption of cement has increased by 5% while exports have decreased by 24%.
During the current financial year from July to January, local consumption of cents was 2 crore 26 lakh 17 thousand tons, which is 14% less than last year.
In 7 months, Pakistan has sold 2.152 thousand metric tons of cement to the world, which is 45% less than last year.
According to the spokesperson of All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association, political instability is affecting the economy, it will be difficult for many companies to continue production without LCs opening.
