Exports fell by 4.41 percent and imports by 5.78 percent in January, the Bureau of Statistics reported -HP NEWS


According to the Bureau of Statistics, Pakistan’s trade deficit decreased by 6.90 percent in January.

The Bureau of Statistics has released the monthly trade data.

According to the data released by Islamabad, exports recorded a decrease of 4.41% in January. Imports fell by 5.78% in January compared to December.

According to the Bureau of Statistics, Pakistan’s trade deficit decreased by 6.90 percent in January. Domestic exports in January were 2 billion 21 million dollars. In January, domestic imports were recorded at 4 billion 856 million dollars.

According to the Bureau of Statistics, the trade deficit decreased by 22.71% on an annual basis in January. Whereas on annual basis, exports recorded a 15.42% decrease during January.

According to the Bureau of Statistics, imports fell by 19.55 percent on an annual basis in January. In the current financial year, July-January trade deficit decreased by 31.97%.

According to the Bureau of Statistics, 22.53% decrease in imports was recorded in the 7 months of this financial year. July-January exports fell by 7.16 percent. July-January exports were 16 billion 469 million dollars. July-January imports were 36 billion 10 million dollars.
