Indian tennis star and Shoaib Malik’s wife Sania Mirza responded to her husband’s tweet two days later.
Former Pakistan cricket team captain and Test cricketer Shoaib Malik issued a statement regarding the end of his wife Sania Mirza’s Grand Slam career.
In a statement released on Twitter, Shoaib Malik addressed Sania Mirza and said that you are a great hope for sportswomen, I am proud of what you have achieved in your career.
Shoaib Malik said you are an inspiration to many, stay strong and congratulations on an incredible career.
Sania Mirza responded to her husband Shoaib Malik’s tweet and wrote, “Thank you” and also shared a happy emoji.
It may be noted that Sania Mirza participated in her last Grand Slam Australian Open, Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna lost in the mixed doubles final.
Sania Mirza will play the last international event of her career in Dubai in February.
