Karachi Wholesale Grocers Association has said that wholesalers have 15 days stock of pulses.
According to the statement, Chairman Wholesale Grocers Abdul Rauf Ibrahim says that despite increasing the dollar rate, the containers of pulses are not being cleared.
Abdul Rauf Ibrahim said that banks are not following the orders of priority for food items, the announcement of waiver of port charges has not been implemented.
Chairman Wholesale Grocers Association said that the demurrage detention made low-priced pulses 25 percent more expensive.
