The dollar suddenly depreciated by 7 rupees 11 paisa to 237 rupees in interbank.
Yesterday, the dollar closed at 230 rupees 89 paise in the interbank.
The highest interbank value of the dollar so far was 239 rupees 94 paise on 28 July 2022.
In the current business week, the dollar has become more expensive by 1 rupee 59 paisa in interbank.
On the other hand, the dollar has become 245 rupees after becoming expensive by 2 rupees in the open market.
According to Zafar Pracha, the purchase of dollar in the open market continues at 243 rupees.
On the other hand, Pakistan Stock Exchange has witnessed a positive start of business this morning.
Pakistan Stock Exchange 100 index has increased by 469 points to 40 thousand 254.
Yesterday, the 100 index closed at 39,785 points.
