Senior Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah says that with the passage of time, there has been a change in the use of Urdu language in Hindi films and this change has not been done for the better.
According to Indian media, he said that this change is disastrous, Hindi movies now have Urdu hai hi nahi, satyanas hoya hai, now there are nonsense words.
Talking during Jashan Rekhta 2022, according to Naseeruddin Shah, who played an eternal role in many hit films, the films made in the present era lack the basic thing, that is, there is no basic material.
Naseeruddin Shah also expressed his displeasure over the fact that today’s films make fun of all nationalities and classes living in India, no one including Sikhs, Christians, Muslims has been spared in these films.
He said that earlier the Censor Board used to mention that the language of the film was Urdu in its certificate, the reason for this was that the songs and poetry were in Urdu and the writers also came from Persian theatre, but now this change can be seen. No Urdu word is used anymore, instead nonsense words are added.
