PPP workers are celebrating after the success in local body elections.

After the local body elections in Karachi, the Election Commission has prepared the final party position, People’s Party is in the first position with 91 seats out of 229 seats.

Jamaat-e-Islami won 85 seats, Tehreek-e-Insaf won 42 seats, Muslim League (N) won 7 seats, JUI won 2 seats while TLP won one seat, an independent candidate also won one seat.

The Election Commission has compiled the results of the Chairman and Vice-Chairman elections in 229 USCs while the results have been withheld in 6 USCs.

6 seats will be heard in the Election Commission of Pakistan, 11 seats were not held due to the death of candidates.

Central District:

Out of 42, Jamaat-e-Islami got 37 seats, People’s Party got 4 seats, Tehreek-e-Insaf got one chairman’s seat in central district.

East District:

Out of 42, Jamaat-e-Islami got 19 seats, People’s Party got 14 seats, Tehreek-e-Insaf got 9 seats.

District Malir:

Out of 30, People’s Party got 20 seats, Tehreek-e-Insaf got 4 seats, Jamaat-e-Islami got 3 seats, Muslim League (N) got 2 seats and independent candidate got one seat.

Western District:

Out of 25, PPP and Tehreek-e-Insaf got 9 and 9 seats, Jamaat-e-Islami 5 and JUI 2 seats.

South District:

In 25, People’s Party got 15 seats, Tehreek-e-Insaf got 9 seats, Tehreek-e-Labaik got one seat.

Korangi District:

Out of 34, Jamaat-e-Islami won 21 seats, Tehreek-e-Insaf 8 seats, People’s Party 3 seats, Muslim League (N) 2 seats.

Kemari District:

In 31, 26 seats were won by People’s Party, Muslim League (N) won 3 seats, Tehreek-e-Insaf won 2 seats.
