Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Jameel Ahmed has said that providing easy loans to the youth is a good initiative of the government.
Speaking at the Youth Business and Agri Loans event held in Islamabad, Governor State Bank said that despite the financial difficulties, the government is determined to empower the youth.
Governor State Bank also said that special instructions have been issued to the banks to provide loans.
Jameel Ahmad said that providing credit to the agricultural sector is the priority of the government and State Bank.
He said that all possible help will be provided to the farmers of the flood affected areas.
He said that the limit of agricultural loans has been increased by 44%. All institutions should play a positive role for youth loan scheme.
