Justice Sardar Tariq Masood, judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, excused himself from hearing the chamber appeals filed to investigate the cipher.
The appeals filed for the cipher investigation were sent back to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Umar Ata Bandial.
Justice Sardar Tariq Masood said that Chief Justice Cypher should appoint an in-chamber appeal before another judge for investigation.
Petitions were filed in the Supreme Court to investigate the cipher.
The Registrar’s Office of the Supreme Court had raised various objections and returned the petitions.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the government have filed separate applications to investigate the cipher.
It should be noted that on January 21, the Supreme Court of Pakistan had scheduled for hearing the appeals filed on the issue of removal of Imran Khan’s government through an alleged global conspiracy.
