The severity of cold continues throughout the country, including Punjab and Sindh, freezing winds started blowing in Karachi early in the morning, due to which the temperature has dropped further.
Due to severe cold in North Balochistan, the temperature in Ziarat dropped to minus 17.8 Celsius.
Due to snowfall, the connecting roads of Pashin, Qila Saifullah, Qila Abdullah, Chaman, upper areas of Ziarat have been closed.
According to reports, there has been shortage of food and medicine in various areas, while mobile and internet services have also been suspended in Pak-Afghan upper border areas.
