Answering the question while holding a press conference at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, Najam Sethi said that I had taken a strong stance on spot-fixing, but those who came before and after me did not take such a stance.
He said, “I was of the opinion that one is not to forgive, but if you complete the sentence, if you can be selected, then you have the right to come and play.”
Chairman PCB Management Committee said that when I left, a player’s penalty was going on at that time. It was started to be fed.
Najam Sethi also said that as far as I am concerned I have in my mind that the punishment should be completed, if the punishment is completed then there is no problem.
Talking about Mohammad Aamir, Najam Sethi said that Aamir is retired, if he wants to come out of retirement, come and play. According to PCB and domestic cricket rules, if selected for the team, play, if not selected, cannot play.
