According to Saudi media, aid worth 3 million dollars will be distributed in Afghanistan.

Saudi media also say that in this context, 550 food baskets were distributed at the headquarters of the Afghan Red Crescent in Kabul.

It should be noted that Afghanistan is experiencing the worst cold wave in 15 years, in which the temperature has dropped to minus 34.

In the last one week, 78 people died in Afghanistan due to severe cold.

According to Afghan authorities, deaths from cold have been reported in 8 provinces of Afghanistan.

70 thousand cattle have also died due to severe cold.

The weather will get colder in the next few days, the affected people need urgent help.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Human Rights said last week that restrictions on Afghan women workers were blocking the delivery of aid.

On the other hand, the United Nations has warned that the ban on women workers is hindering relief efforts, with more than 20 million Afghans in urgent need of food and humanitarian aid.

It should be remembered that the Taliban government banned women from working in welfare organizations last month.
