During the 5 months of the current financial year, the production of leather and furniture has increased to a record, the statistics agency has released a report.
According to the report, industrial production increased by 3.55 percent in November compared to October.
From July to November, the production of leather products recorded an increase of 8.18%, the production of the electronics sector increased by 1.06%, while the production of the furniture sector saw a growth of 99.29%.
On the other hand, production of large industries decreased by 3.58%, industrial production decreased by 5.49% in November 2022 compared to November 2021.
From July to November, the production of textile sector decreased by 11.45%, the production of wood products by 63.61% and the production of iron and steel products by 0.87%.
From July to November, the output of the chemicals sector fell by 0.73 percent, the output of pharmaceutical products by 23.22 percent and the output of the tobacco sector by 22.32 percent.
In November, the production of textile industry decreased by 22.04%, iron and steel industry by 8.71% while the production of wood products recorded a decrease of 80.54%.
